Future Fashion 18th & 19th August
For 8 - 14 year olds.
Fashion and textiles short course. Discover your inner fashion designer and experiment with materials, ideas and skills.
Over two days you will have a thorough introduction to fashion and textiles. We will cover some surface and print design, garment construction, fashion illustration and finally some upcycling techniques. We will look at current fashion trends and learn how to create work based on an emerging or new trend.
You will go home with several finished products, lots of new skills and brimming with confidence.
Our teaching is always in small groups. All materials and resources are provided. Children just need to come with enthusiasm and lunch!
A different theme is explored during each short course so outcomes will be different.
This course is suitable for children of all skill levels.
